Which language is the best?

I was in High School and was sitting with my classmates. We were discussing about different words and translating some texts.Eventually we started discussing about different languages.

Then one of the students said that one particular language is best.

According to the student that particular language was best because it doesn't have offensive words in it.Everybody agreed as they never read or heard an offensive or mean word in that language.

I did not agree.

Because that language was not spoken anymore in common life and is in texts only.If we compared the languages we were learning, only on the bases of what we read in the textbooks; Every language was good because text books don't teach abusive language.

I recalled to go back to grade three lessons. Where we are taught the definition of a language.

Language is a medium to express or share our views. Any language is as good as your views are.

I explained further; if someone wants to say kind words, every medium/or language has some words for it. Our language we speak is what we learned from our surroundings. We were not taught from textbooks. If you want to abuse someone, any language will have words for that. If you want to say some kind words, the same language will have words for that as well.

It is not the language you talk in, makes you best. It is your views, you share using that language, make you best.

It takes only 2 years to learn any language,whole life to mind that language.

Lets stop judging, comparing and categorizing everything. Lets learn about this world and bring our best side of accepting and sharing the best in everything we have.

The best language is a warm smile and kindness. We may relearn and share this language to our earthlings.
